TEACHER / FOUNDER

Originally from the U.S.A., near Philadelphia, she has called the Czech Republic home since 2011. She lives in Brloh with her husband and twin daughters, and feels lucky to be raising her family in such a beautiful countryside. She holds degrees in elementary and special education and has spent many years teaching in bilingual and international schools across Asia and Europe.

Her approach to teaching is relationship-led, playful, and student-centered, with a focus on project-based learning, creativity, curiosity, and independence. She loves creating spaces where children feel comfortable being themselves, exploring their interests, and discovering that learning English can be both meaningful and fun. A lifelong traveler and educator, she is excited to bring her experience and passion for language learning to the community through The Elements English Club.

TEACHER

A canadian born musician and composer with a background in music theatre (Stage West and Theatre Calgary), dance and music productions (the Alberta Ballet Dance Company, Barrage touring group) pedagogy and performance. Other work includes recording and sound engineering (the Beat Niq) and co founder of original music ensemble Czar Ko logie with violinist and conductor Eileen Kosasih.

Since taking up residence in Czechia life has focused primarily on his young family of 4 and enjoying the beauty of rural South Bohemia. The demand for english native speakers here has led to some very enjoyable work at Gymnázium J.V. Jirsíka, České Budějovice, HLB Proxy and Evropské centrum jazykových zkoušek. He very much looks forward to more such opportunities and experiences with students and adults alike.
