Christina Ann McKellar
FROM PHILADELPHIA TO BRLOH
Born in the United States and raised outside of Philadelphia, I have always been an outgoing, adventurous soul. As a young teacher, my desire to travel and see the world brought me to the Czech Republic in 2011. Soon after my arrival in Prague, I fell in love with a charming Czech man from Brloh. We now live in this beautiful village with our twin daughters. I am excited about the new adventures of The Elements Language Club and I’m looking forward to bringing quality English education to my local community.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in elementary and special education. Most of my career has been spent abroad teaching in bilingual and international schools around Asia and Europe. I am an advocate for student-centered teaching and learning practices and a concept-based curriculum and instruction trainer. I last worked as a curriculum coordinator, where I coached teachers, led workshops, and helped my school develop and implement a concept-based curriculum.
